Viruses affect our computers in a negative way. They come to our PCs as unwanted guests that we want to get rid of. There are some steps that you can take to prevent viruses from invading your computer:
Never open emails that look suspicious. Even if they look like they were sent by somebody you know, try to remain alert anyway.
Avoid downloading free software from the internet before first checking it for viruses.
Equip your PC with effective anti - virus program. Always remember to have the latest, the most update version of it. Update your anti – virus program on a regular, scheduled basis.
Back up any of your important data on a regular basis. If a virus infects your PC and deletes your important information, you will have a second source to have it.
When it comes to viruses there is no reason to panic, but rather try to take the precautions I mentioned and hopefully everything will be fine.
